Description

From top left to bottom right:

Sonic Adventure 2: When I got this for Christmas, I thought Sonic was exclusive to Sega. A couple of years on, I learnded about the Dreamcast and Segas reason to switch to a software manufacturer. The only good parts of the game are the Sonic/Shadow stages.

Luigi's Mansion: It's fun... But really short. The visuals are great, though.

Smash Bros Melee: I was HOOKED to this. Must get every character... Every stage... Every trophy. And I succeeded... Except the Trophy part...

Ultimate Spiderman: When I finished it, I was still addicted to it. Doing nothing but swinging around the city. Fun.

Sonic Gems Collection: I bought this solely for Sonic CD, because I once owned the PC version of it, and get this: I was stuck in Collision Chaos and didn't know where to go, so I hated it, and sold it. Poor poor me.
So I got it again years later with this compilation. Sonic CD is the best 2D Sonic game, but it can be very unforgivingly frustrating. Sonic R. I owned this on the PC too. It's a boring racing game with only 5 tracks to race on. bleh. Sonic the Fighters. It's only fun on the first two fights because they were easy and not frustrating, unlike the rest of the fights. I invented a trade mark that whenever I knock out an opponent, I take a quick opportunity to stomp hard on his nads. It never gets old. I saw an old home video of me when I was about 6, where we were at the Arcades and I was actually playing it on the actual arcade. And Sonic the Fighters was quite a rare sight, so I'm quite lucky to have played the real version. As for the rest of the games in the compilation? They suck.

Mario Kart Double Dash: There's so much more craziness and mayhem in this game than Mario Kart Wii, and I kind of like it more. It's a shame I can't play as my Adolf Hitler Mii in Double Dash. It always makes the racing funnier.

Starfox Adventures: This is actually the first Starfox game I ever played. The graphics were gorgeous and the gameplay was a lot like Zelda. Rares last game for a Nintendo Home Console. Sigh...

Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door: A fantastic RPG, and also quite mature for a Mario game. There's a lot of death and serious stuff in this Mario game. Quite a dark twist.

Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex: This is a good Crash game, but I feel that something's missing from the other Crash games, but I just can't figure out what it is...

Zelda: Wind Waker. When I first saw pictures of this, I was pissed off. It's so bright an colourful that the other Zelda's and I was a newb to the franchise then (OOT was my first Zelda), and I was annoyed it wasn't the same Link. When I saw it in the video shop, I decided to give it a go and hired it. I was stunned. This game is just amazing. Don't judge a book by it's cover. How about you actually PLAY the game and see what it's like?

Zelda: Collector's Edition: Zelda I, Zelda II, OOT and MM. "Not for resale"? Pah. I found it on the shelf at the pawn shop. Suck that, Nintendo.

Metroid Prime: Amazing First Person "Adventure". I'd rather this than Halo's Campaign mode.

Sonic Mega Collection: When I picked this up, I found out it had the Sonic titles of yore. Sonic 1, 2, 3, and some other Sonic spinoffs. When I started up Sonic 2 on the compilation, I was unaware before I started playing the first level, that Sonic 2 is actually the first Sonic game I ever played, right from when I first played it on someone's Mega Drive! Such nostalgia.

Sonic Heroes: Another good 3D Sonic game, but there are lots of cheap deaths in the game.

Super Mario Sunshine. I was disappointed with this Mario, but nevertheless, I had lots of fun with it. I'm sure the entire hub; Isle Delfino was ripped straight out of the game in place in SSBB.

Mario Party 6: Eh. Pretty decent. Boring without competition with other human beings.

Simpsons Hit and Run. A Simpsons game that's good, and historically funny.

Pokemon Channel: Ahem, this is not a game because you don't play it. You WATCH IT. Literally. Most of the time with this "Game", you sit next to Pikachu and watch TV with him. Just boring.
